Cancellation, printing and other activities that you can do with a ticket are very simple but little confusing on the mobile website, to do it successfully just follow these steps:

  1. On your mobile browser open the website.
  2. Now Login to your account. If you are facing any issue on mobile website login then you can check how to Login.
  3. After successful login, open the sidebar menu and go to "Booked Ticket History" under "My transactions" under "My Account" Menu.

  4. Now, will show you a list of tickets booked by you, you can filter them by upcoming and past journeys and sort the list on the basis of journey date and booking date.

  5. Find the ticket you want to check details of and TAP on it.
  6. The system will show you the complete details of that ticket. Now check carefully on the top right corner of the ticket details box there is a three dot option. Just TAP on it.

  7. Now you will get all the options like cancel ticket, print ticket, get SMS, get PNR status etc. TAP on any option you like to complete the action.

How to print and do ticket cancellation from IRCTC new website on a computer

Cancellation, printing and other activities that you can do with a ticket on a computer website are also simple, just follow these steps:

  1. On your computer open the website.
  2. Now Login to your account. If you are facing any issue then you can check how to Login.
  3. After successful login, open the sidebar menu and go to "Booked Ticket History" under "My transactions" under "My Account" Menu.

  4. It will show you a list of tickets booked by you, you can filter them by upcoming and past journeys and sort the list on the basis of journey date and booking date.

  5. Just find the ticket want to check details of and CLICK on it. Please pay attention the ticket booked list contains all the details of that ticket which confuses that we can only see those details only but it's not so, you have to click on the ticket details box to unlock the cancellation, print, get SMS etc options like the picture below.

  6. Now you will get all the options like cancel ticket, print ticket, get SMS, get PNR status etc. Click on Cancel ticket option to cancel the ticket. Or click on the Print e-ticket option to print the ticket. Note: please check whether the popup from the new website is blocked or not, if the popup is blocked then it will show an icon in your address bar and will not allow you to print the ticket. To allow it you have to click that icon and has to select always allow popup option.

The new options for ticket cancellation from IRCTC are a little confusing for people who are fond of the old website. IRCTC also must have made access to details option easier.
